II Coconut Chutney II


  • 1 Cup grated coconut
  • 2tbsp Chana daal
  • 3-4 green chilies
  • 2" piece of Ginger grated
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp Lemon juice
  • 2tbsp curd
  • 1tsp mustard seeds
  • few Curry leaves


  • Fry chana daal in a pan on medium flame.
  • Blend all the ingredients and grind to a smooth paste. Add little water bit by bit if required during grinding.
  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves, allow to splutter.
  • Add this to grinded mixture and mix well.
