II Masala Raita (Spicy Raita) II


  • 2 Cups Curd (Yogurt)
  • 3-4 flakes Garlic paste
  • 1/2" piece of Ginger paste
  • salt to taste
  • A pinch of Asafetida
  • 2 Green chilies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. roasted cumin (jeera)powder
  • 1/2tsp Black mustard seeds
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1tsp oil
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
Preperation :
  • Blend curd, garlic-ginger paste and green chilies and little water, keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan add Asafetida, curry leaves, mustard seeds, allow to splutter.
  • Now add blended curd, cumin powder and salt.
  • Garnish with coriander.
