II  Malai Ki Sabzi II


  • 4 cups Heavy Cream (Malai)
  •  2 tbsp. Ghee
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 small piece Ginger, finely chopped
  •  Sendha Namak to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. Red chilli powder or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp. Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds, allow to crackle.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and cook till tomatoes are soft.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala powder, mix well.
  • In a bowl stir malai well. Mix little water and pour it into tomato paste and cook for a minute on low flame.
  • Serve hot.
     Note - small cubes of boiled potatoes or paneer can also be added to it.
