II Rava (semolina) Kichidi II

Ingredients:

  • 250gms. Rava / sooji (semolina) 
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 2 medium potatoes (cut into small cubes)
  • 3-4 carrots (diced)
  • 3 green chilies (sliced)
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Few curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2tsp. mustard seeds
Preperation :
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves and allow them to splutter.
  • Now add chopped onions, potatoes, carrots and green chilies and stir fey them for few minutes.
  • Add salt and mix well. Now add 3 cups of water and cook the vegetables covered on moderate heat.
  • Cook until vegetables are tender then add rava / sooji stiring constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Cook for another 5-6 minutes.
  • Serve hot .
