II Egg Kabobs II



  • 4 eggs (hard boiled)
  • 2-3 tbsp gram flour (Besan)
  • 1 egg white (beaten well)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1-2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1/2-inch piece of ginger (grated)
  • 1tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder to taste
  • 1/4th tsp garam masala powder
  • Oil/ ghee for deep-frying.
Preperation :
  • Peel the shell of eggs and grate them finely.
  • In a bowl mix gram flour, chopped onions, chilies, ginger, salt, chili and garam masala powder.
  • Now add the grated eggs and mix nicely. Pour in the beaten white portion of egg and form a dough.
  • Now divide the dough into 8-10 equal portions.  Shape each portion into a flat, 1/2-inch thick disc.
  • Heat the oil / ghee in a kadhai or deep-frying pan over a moderate heat and fry the kababs till golden brown & crisp.
  • Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
