II   Stuffed Zuchinni (Torai)  II



  • 5-6 small Zucchini's (toari)
  • 1 big Onion grated
  • Puree of 1 big tomato
  • Garlic paste of 3 or 4 flakes
  • 1tsp ginger paste
  • 2 Green chili (finely chopped)
  • Salt, Red chili powder to taste.
  • Gram Masala to taste
  • 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4th tsp deggi mirch (chili powder for red color)
  • 3 tbsp oil  

Preperation :

  • Peel and wash Zucchini and make a cut vertically, keep aside
  • Heat oil in a kadhai and add ginger-garlic paste and fry till light brown.
  • Now add onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Now add all dry masalas and few drops of water stir for a moment.
  • Add tomato puree and fry till it starts leaving oil.
  • Now low down the flame and take a spoon and fill the masala in Zucchini.
  • Add Zucchini to the remaining masala and add little water and cook until done.
  • Serve hot.
