Green Mango Chutney


  • 2 Green Mangoes (chopped)
  • 11/2 cup sugar/Jaggery
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2tsp mustard seeds
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 dry Red chilly
  • 1tsp oil
  • 1/4th tsp. turmeric powder


  • Heat oil in a pan add red chili and mustard seeds, allow to splutter
  • Add mangoes, salt and turmeric powder and water.
  • Cover and cook till mangoes soften.
  • Now add sugar or jaggery and boil.
  • Serve cool.
