Kanji Lassi II |
Ingredients:

2 Black
Carrots
-
2 cups Water
-
1 tsp. Rai
powder
-
1/4 tsp. Red
Chilli
powder
-
1/4 tsp.
Black pepper
powder
-
2 Cups Dahi
(Plain
yogurt)
-
Chaat Masala
powder to
sprinkle
Preparation:
-
Wash the
carrots,
peel the
skin and
cut into
pieces.
-
Boil
water,
add rai
powder,
red
chilli
powder,
black
pepper
powder,
salt and
carrots.
-
Allow to
cool.
Now pour
this
into a
glass
container
and keep
it in
sun-light
for 3-4
days.
-
This
water
will
turn
sour (khatta).
Kanji
water is
ready.
Now it
can be
used as
needed.
-
Remove
carrots
from the
kanji
water.
Add to
the
yogurt
and
blend it
in
mixer.
Add
little
chat
masala.
-
Serve
garnished
with
carrot
pieces
cut into
different
designs.
