II Daal Paratha II


  • Whole Wheat flour (Atta) as per Consumption
  • Leftover Daal (cooked)
  • 1/2 Cup Besan (Gram flour)
  • 1 small Onion (Very finely chopped )
  • Small Piece of Ginger (grated)
  • 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp. jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • Salt, red chili powder, Garam masala as per taste.
  • Butter / Oil for frying.


  • Mix all the ingredients. Add enough water / Milk to make a dough of rolling consistency.
  • Cover it and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Then make small balls and roll them like parathas
  • Put the paratha on the tawa (Griddle) and make like you make any paratha.
  • Serve hot with curd and chutney of your choice.
