Chicken Tikkas

Ingredients:

4 Chicken Breasts, cut into
cubes

1 tsp. Garlic paste

1 tsp. Ginger, finely chopped

3/4 cup plain yogurt (dahi)
-
1 small onion, peeled and
grated
-
1 tbsp. coriander powder
-
Salt to taste
-
Red chili powder to taste
-
Butter for
basting
-
Tomato, onion, lemon for
garnishing
Preparation:
- In a bowl mix together yogurt, ginger, onion, garlic paste,
salt, red chili powder and coriander powder.
- Add chicken cubes to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover the
bowl and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Skewer the chicken cubes. Roast in a pre-heated oven / grill
/ tandoor, turning it occasionally, for 8-10 minutes or until
cooked properly, basting at least once.
- Remove the cubes from the skewers and place on a warmed
serving dish.
- Garnish with tomato slices, onion rings and lemon wedges and
serve hot with
green chutney.
