This Surya mantra is found in the Rig Veda. This is in praise of Surya, the Sun God in Hindu mythology. Surya Dev, also known as Suraya or Suraj Devata, is the main solar deity in Hinduism. He is also commonly referred to as the Sun god.
Aa krishnen rajasa vartamaano niveshyannamritam matrayam
cha.
Hiranyayena savita rathena devo yati bhuvnaani
pashyann.

Throughout the dusky
firmament advancing,
laying to rest the
immortal and the
mortal,
Borne in his golden
chariot he cometh,
Savitar, God who
looks on every
creature.
