Semolina
Coconut Sweet Balls
Ingredients:

11/2 Cups Sooji (Semolina)

1 Cup Shredded Coconut
-
2 tbsp.
Ghee
(Clarified Butter)

1 Cup Sugar
-
1/2 cup Water
-
1/4 tsp. elaichi powder (Green
Cardamom)

25 gms. Kaju (Cashew nuts)
Preparation:

In a heavy bottom pan, roast
semolina on a low heat till light brown in colour and crisp. Add
shredded coconut and continue to roast, stirring continuously.

In other pan, add sugar and water
and make one string
syrup.

Now add roasted semolina, coconut
and cardamom powder to this syrup and mix well. Keep aside
covered for 30 minutes.

Make ping-pong size balls and
decorate each ball with a piece of cashew nut.

Let it cool and then store.
