Ingredients:

175 gm All purpose flour (Maida)

120 gm margarine/ unsalted butter

120 gm sugar
-
2 eggs
-
1 tbsp. Milk
-
50 gm mixed fruit (Currants Sultanas, raisins)

15 gm walnuts chopped.

25 gm almonds chopped.

1tsp Baking powder.
Preparation:

Grease a round cake pan with butter and dust
with flour.

Sift the flour and baking powder 3-4 times in a
muslin cloth or very fine strainer.

Cream the butter and sugar till light and
fluffy.
-
Beat the eggs and add to the cream mixture and
add sifted flour.
-
Blend the mixture well and add chopped walnuts,
almonds and fruits.

Pour the milk and stir well till mixture becomes
smooth.

Pour the batter in the greased pan.
-
Bake in a pre-heated Oven for 20-25 minute or
until done, at 350 degree F.
