Gajrela (Carrot Pudding)II |
Ingredients:

500 gms Carrots (Gajar) (skinned and grated)

200 gms
Khoya (mashed)

10 cahew nuts
-
6-8 cardamoms (powdered)
-
2 silver leaves (Chandi varak)
-
1 litre Milk
-
1 cup sugar or to taste
-
4 tsp almonds (blanched and split)
-
1 tsp pure ghee / unsalted butter
Preperation :
-
Boil the milk and sugar, then add the grated carrots. Cook
together milk, sugar, grated carrots and khoya on medium heat.

Cook until the mixture thickens.
-
Add 1 tsp of ghee and fry lightly.
-
Lastly add the cashews, almonds and cardamom powder.
-
To be served hot garnished with silver leaves.
