II Crab Curry (Kekda Rasedaar) II

Ingredients: (Serves 6)

  • 2tbsp ghee
  • 6 crabs (boiled, shelled and flaked)
  • 1 medium onions (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1tsp chopped curry leaves
  • 2/3rd cup coconut milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2tsp red chili powder
  • 1tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Preperation :

  • Heat the ghee in a saucepan and fry the onions, garlic, ginger, chilies and curry leaves over moderate heat for about 2 minutes.
  • Add flaked crabs with salt and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the coconut milk and add chili powder, lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot sprinkled with coconut & coriander leaves.
