Channa Vada II |
Ingredients:

3 cups Channa Dal (Bengal Gram)

2 medium Onions, finely chopped

3-4 Green chilies, finely chopped
-
Salt to taste
-
Oil to fry
Preparation:

Wash and Soak dal in water for about 2 hours.

By adding enough water grind Dal to a coarse paste.

Add chopped onions and green chilies to the grinded dal.

Add salt to the mixture and mix well.
-
Heat the Oil.
-
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a ball and flatten each ball on your palm.

Now deep fry the vadas in the hot oil, till golden brown in color.
-
Remove and drain onto a paper towel and serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
